Applications Architect Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None What You'll Get to Do: CACI is currently looking for an experienced Applications Architect to join our team as the Senior Technical Lead that will innovate the future of the Intelligence Community's (IC) enterprise Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) services and solutions. The FORT INDEPENDENCE program is the IC's Information Technology Enterprise (IC-ITE) Service of Common Concern, as well as the Sponsor's Enterprise Access Control provider. The FORT INDEPENDENCE contract team will provide leadership in architecture, engineering, and delivery of ICAM services for the Sponsor, and for other IC partners. As the Senior Technical Lead on FORT INDEPENDENCE, you will work with a larger team comprised of Solutions Architects, system engineers, software developers, and data engineers to deliver capabilities to the Sponsor's and other IC customer's production environments. You will be the primary focal point for the Sponsor's Technical Director to build the overall ICAM Capability Delivery Roadmap. You will evaluate existing Sponsor capabilities, familiarizing themselves with current system architecture and inherit the development responsibilities for those capabilities and systems as directed by the Sponsor. You will work with the Sponsor to generate and document requirements for new system development. You will develop new systems to satisfy Sponsor approved requirements, and subsequently develop, document, and execute test plans, procedures, and scenarios for acceptance testing More About the Role: You will also be a part of the FORT INDEPENDENCE leadership team, with the expectation that you will work collaboratively with your peer Segment Leads to resolve issues at the lowest level possible. This position resides in our Intel Applications Services Division within the Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Demonstrated experience in ICAM technologies* Demonstrated experience in API Design* Demonstrated experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as S3, HDFS, Diode, Glue, etc.* Demonstrated experience in authoring and consuming Web Services.* Demonstrated experience utilizing RMDB and NoSQL capabilities.* Demonstrated experience utilizing Distributed Data Storage platforms* Demonstrated experience developing atop Distributed Data Processing & Query platforms* Demonstrated experience in open source technologies and experience in pulling together multiple open source modules to satisfy a system requirement * Demonstrated experience utilizing managed platforms/services and experience pulling together multiple services/platforms to satisfy a system requirement* Demonstrated experience in securely and efficiently facilitating search within large distributed systems with "row-level" or "cell-level" security.* Demonstrated experience in user engagements, soliciting requirements, decomposing into user stories* Demonstrated experience in requirements definition* Demonstrated experience in Information Security, Assessment & Accreditation* Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Agile methodologies* Linux (e.g. CentOS) * Java* Python* NoSQL Databases (e.g. mongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.) * SQL & RDBMS Systems (e.g. Amazon RDS) These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Minimum of one AWS Certification from the AWS Associate level (AWS Certified Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate) * Apache NiFi* Hadoop, Spark, AWS EMR, or equivalents* SOLR and/or ElasticSearch, or equivalents * Presto, AWS Athena, Pig, or equivalents What We Can Offer You: - We've been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post. - Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives. - We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities. - We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation's highest priorities. - For over 55 years, the principles of CACI's unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.
