Intelligent Waves is seeking a Business Development Executive for
our US Air Force and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)
portfolio within the Growth Organization.
The Business Development Executive will have extensive knowledge of
the USAF market as it pertains to the areas of Air Combat Command,
and the 16th Air Force. Additionally, the Business Development
Executive will have knowledge and insight into DISA. This position
will work closely with Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to focus on
positioning and capturing new business contracts within these
markets. We are looking for an energetic person with established
relationships that can be the face of IW to some of our most valued
customers.
Employees are required to follow all company and customer site
COVID-19 protocols.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the CGO, Client Operations and Capture teams to
identify and qualify new business opportunities
Identify, foster and qualify new business opportunities for capture
using IW's Internal Capture Management Process.
Driver for new business opportunities, arranging meetings,
initiating call plans and technical demonstrations, helping to
shape procurement outcomes, and strengthening IW relationships with
customers.
Develop and execute effective call plans for meetings with target
clients, acquisition offices, program managers, and industry
partners.
Actively market IW to establish Air Force and DISA expectations,
and shape opportunities by supporting the creation of white papers,
sponsoring demonstrations, and responding to RFIs and similar
activities. Conceptualize the need, organize the correct company
participants, and facilitate the collaboration to completion
Create, manage, and implement customer road map plans (to
articulate and generate consensus for capture and business
case).
Interface with teaming partners to develop and build compelling
teams in pursuit of opportunities.
Meet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall
corporate growth and success.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of related experience selling
services or operating in the DoD environment; federal
contracting/business development is a strong desire.
10+ years performing duties related to the USAF and/or DISA client
in the markets addressed above.
Strong written and oral communications skills; successful proposal
writing experience
Desire to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving business
organization
Must have a mature and active network of contacts relevant to the
Air Force and DISA Markets.
Experience building and maintaining high-level relationships and
demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customers.
Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Able to work extend hours and weekends when needed.
Must be a US Citizen.
Active DoD Security Clearance preferred.

at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote
locations essential.
