Flight Sciences Section in Blue Origin's Advanced Development
Programs business unit. -As part of a small, hardworking, and
accomplished team of Mission Systems and Flight Operations
Engineers, you will work closely with space vehicle and ground
subsystem teams, leading development of a common ground system
product asks throughout the full system -lifecycle. Your technical
leadership -will -firmly establish the ADP Flight Operations
-team's -capability to operate advanced spaceflight vehicles. -You
will enjoy a fast-paced dynamic environment, contributing
innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership,
technical competence, and attention to detail. This position will
directly impact the history of space exploration and will require
your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and

mission and vision is required! -Responsibilities: - -Identify,
derive, develop, and maintain -Mission and Ground System
requirements, including traceability and verification and
validation approach, necessary to implement a design that meets
objectives -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including
engineers representing flight vehicle systems, ground software,
flight control operators and customers -Define the ground -system
architecture and designs that enable highly effective and
labor-efficient real-time spacecraft and ground system operation,
systems performance assessment and inter-team communication and
coordination -Define and maintain -ground -system interface
requirements and control documents, for example between -software
components and -Mission Control Centers -Plan, perform and document
requirement verification and validation -for -the Common Ground
SystemPlan and perform frequent -Ground Systems -product -update
cycles, integration and test activities, and validation exercises
leading to operations training events and flightSupport initiatives
to improve Mission -Systems and -Flight -Operations -engineering
and other functional processes and tools -Perform analysis to
ensure operability across the -Space-Ground System, and support
efforts to improve operability where justified -Qualifications: -
-B.S. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical
engineering, computer science, physics or related technical field
-Expertise in one -or more -of the following areas: - Ground System
architecture -in the context of -space mission flight operations
-Ground Software design and development -Spacecraft telemetry,
commanding and sequencing -Flight-ground RF communications
-Operational fault management -Experience in a complex system
lifecycle - requirement definition, design solution definition,
implementation, integration, verification, validation,
qualification, commissioning and/or operationsStrong understanding
of the principles and methods of engineering complex systems
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work
collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment -Ability
to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships,
and contribute to a culture of inclusion -Must be a U.S. citizen or
national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or
lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
-Desired: -M.S. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering, computer science, physics or related
technical field -At least five (5+) years of experience in
industry, with at least one (1+) year leading a product team
-Experience working on large complex programs with multiple
partners -Experience defining and performing multifaceted trade
studies -Experience with human spaceflight -First principles
knowledge of all major spacecraft subsystems -Experience with
-CCSDS standards for spacecraft telemetry and commands -Experience
with Encryption/Decryption in AES-256 or FIPS-140-3 Level 1-3
-Experience with Customer data routing and handling -Experience
with AWS Cloud development -Experience with requirements definition
and management, preferably using DOORS Next Generation -Familiarity
with system safety analyses techniques including Functional Hazard
Assessments (FHA), Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analyses
(FMECA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) -Experience with
collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA -Familiarity with
version control, preferably Git -Experience with configuration and
product data management tools, preferably Windchill -Experience
working with and proposing to U.S. Government research agencies
(e.g. NASA, AFRL, DARPA) -The expected salary range for the
position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for
Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon
individual qualifications and experience.Estimated salary wage
