Overview* This position is contingent upon contract award *SOSi is currently seeking aMid- Level Special Security Representativeto support a large intelligence support services contract in the CENTCOM AOR. The program supports the coordination, planning, and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation, production, dissemination, and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies in Kuwait.Responsibilities

• Assists the Special Security Officer (SSO) to ensure control of access to SCI and SCI facilities (SCIFs).
• Certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances / accesses.
• Conducts SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, training on classified material / SSO-related material and topics.
• Obtains signed nondisclosure agreements.
• Provides guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for assigned military, Government and contractor personnel.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict
• Other duties may include, but not limited to: audits of classified material; inspections of classified material storage facilities / SCIFs / containers; and, researching and preparing classified material-related policy and management recommendations, reports and recommendations.
• Other requirements and skills, consistent with the forgoing description, may be specified in individual TOs.Qualifications
  • Active in scope TS/SCI clearance.
  • Associates Degree or four years DoD experience with strong job related experience and special skills is a plus.
  • 4 years of experience in compartmented programs in DoD/IC is a plus.
  • Ability to work with customers and provide special security support.
  • Solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities IAW DCID 1/12 standard.
  • Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes.
  • Working knowledge of AR 25-50.
  • Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include NISPOM, NISPOM supplement, DCIDS, DoD and DIA M-1 Manual.Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelors Degree.
    • 2 - 4 years experience in security training or security inspections.
    • Deployed experience in Iraq, Syria, or Afghanistan preferred.
    • CDSE Certificate in Security, (Generalist).
    • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.Working Conditions
      • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
      • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
