and culture is an exciting challenge.Job DescriptionThis role
provides project support to the Economic Development and Place team
assisting with the delivery of economic development, destination
marketing and place making projects and initiatives that enhance
local neighbourhoods and support our community and businesses.The
ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable
working across a variety of tasks - from project administration to
stakeholder engagement and event support. A collaborative mindset
and a focus on quality and timely delivery are essential, along

Bold, and Impactful.The key responsibilities of this role are
to:
- Attend to administrative matters pertaining to project and
program delivery including maintaining minutes or other
documents.
- Prepare reports, submissions, correspondence and undertake
general research as required.
- Research and monitor trends to ensure projects and initiatives
reflect current best practice.
- Enter requisitions and monitor purchasing and ensure payments
made on time.
- Assist with correspondence reports, briefing notes and
presentations.
- Update and maintain the branch's intranet and web pages.
- Provide general administration assistance to the branch.
- Undertake or assist with the delivery of Economic Development,
Destination Marketing and Place making projects or
initiatives.
- Plan, develop and deliver programs and projects to meet
identified needs and expectations for community.
- Compile and analyse data and feedback and prepare reports of
projects and initiatives.
- Liaise with all relevant City staff to ensure a high level of
customer service and project delivery.
- Form and maintain strong relationships or partnerships with
other City branches, community and stakeholder groups, including
government and non-government agencies.
- Represent the City on external committees and promote the
city's services and programs as required.Minimum
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work
experience.
- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication
skills.
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills, both
analytical and creative.
- Good project management and organisational skills.
- Experience with coordinating projects and initiatives.
- Ability to manage competing projects and hit deadlines with
strong attention to detail.
- Ability to consult with government agencies, industry groups
and the community.
- Experience in research and data analysis.
- Experience and interest in marketing, communications, event
management or related industries.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.Contract
period:This role is offered as a two-year fixed-term contract to
cover a period of parental leave. The desired start date for the
preferred candidate to commence is 23 June 2025, with an estimated
contract end date of 22 June 2027, or until such date that the
substantive role-holder returns to work, if this occurs
earlier.Interview:Interviews for this position are scheduled to
take place on Friday 16 May and, if required, Monday 19 May 2025.

package:From $79,175 to $85,998 per annum pro rata, plus 11.5%
employer superannuation and additional co-contribution to your
