is looking for a Modeling, Simulation, Serious Gaming Architect to
design advanced simulation architectures to meet existing and
future state requirements for Defense and Intelligence customers
and oversee the delivery of the architectures for DoD customers.The
Modeling, Simulation, Serious Gaming Architect shall be a change
agent, defining new ways of simulating all domain operations at
hyper-scale connecting the Digital World with the Physical
World.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Design advanced simulation
architectures using physics-based gaming engines, gaming patterns,
cloud-native gaming solutions, and integrated enterprise data sets
and cloud services to create new simulation experiencesResponsible
for designing simulation architectures that become Minimum Viable
Products (MVPs) for customers.Develops solutions to a variety of
highly complex engineering problems of advanced scope and
complexityPerforms highly complex systems design, development, and
integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the endDefine
and develop system architectures, then lead teams to build and
deliverSupport the development of internal technical principles and
quality standardsSupport the growth of the technical team through
teaching and mentorshipContribute to projects through hands-on
involvement in software development, test, and integrationWork with
existing internal physics models, 3rd party software, and software
engineers to develop next-generation physics-based
simulationsExperience writing and coordinating engineering and
technology integration and migration strategiesExperience
successfully leading matrixed, geographically diverse technical
product and engineering project teamsAbility to communicate complex
ideas and produce and present clear, concise, well-organized, and
audience-relevant presentations and documentsAbility to create a
positive, collaborative working relationship with representatives
and stakeholders from external
organizationsQualificationsQualifications:The Modeling, Simulation,
Serious Gaming Architect shall create the Enterprise Metaverse for
Defense and Intelligence customers.Required
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience
as a solution architectOR Master's Degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years
experience as a solution architectOR equivalent experience.5+ years
of experience with Microsoft Azure and the ability to build complex
architecture by combining data and service infrastructure with
end-user applicationsExperience with Unreal and/or Unity gaming
engines.Experience with geospatial technologies, standards, and
imagery such as ESRI, Open Geospatial Consortium, Maxar, and
Blackshark.ai.Additional or Preferred Qualifications:Experience
with data-driven enablement of end-users use cases that intersect
enterprise business and technologyUnderstanding of integration of
3D geospatial imagery with gaming enginesFamiliarity with 3D remote
rendering such as Unreal Pixel Streaming, Microsoft Xcloud, WebRTC,
etc.Understanding of XR technologies and devices such as Microsoft
HoloLens or otherExpert experience with dispersed network
infrastructures with multiple classification levels (e.g., NIPR,
SIPR, JWICS)Knowledge of and experience in SAP PL-3 and
PL-4Experience in data governance fields such as lineage, quality,
catalog, etc.Experience with the JSIG and all the relevant and
included requirements and standardsDeep experience building
platforms that enable integration of differentiated technologies
and new innovative approachesUnderstanding of integration of 3D
geospatial imagery with gaming enginesFamiliarity with 3D remote
rendering such as Unreal Pixel Streaming, Microsoft Xcloud, WebRTC,
etc.Understanding of XR technologies and devices such as Microsoft
HoloLens or otherFamiliarity with the Entity Component System
patternFamiliarity with Azure PlayfabFamiliarity with Microsoft

on the Azure platformTop Secret ClearanceThe successful candidate
must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security
Clearance.------ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or
government security screening requirements are required for this
role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance
and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment
action up to and including termination.Clearance Verification: This
position requires successful verification of the stated security
clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You
will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior

must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position

security requirements.Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to
successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background
screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a
recurring bi-annual basis.The salary for this role in the state of
Colorado is between $131,900 to $197,500. At Microsoft, certain
roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus
and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual
performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity
to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending
on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.Candidates
