next.This position resides within the Systems Engineering Section
of the Advanced Development Programs business unit. As part of a
hardworking team of diverse engineers, you guide the development
the fully reusable next-generation New Glenn. You are responsible
for standing up, leading, and working on the team to develop,
justify, and decompose system- and subsystem-level requirements and
the associated verification approach. That is, for the requirements
& verification function of the program's Systems Engineering
Management Plan.We are looking for someone to apply their technical
expertise, leadership ability, and commitment to quality to help us

required!Responsibilities: -Be a technical lead of requirement
development Develop and maintain the program's document and
specification treeBe an advocate of streamlined standard
methodologies and tools (e.g., DOORS Next Gen) to implement a
program requirements and verification database that provides a
single-source-of-truth requirements baseline.Develop linked,
traceable, and justified requirement sets at all levels of program
abstraction (e.g., system, subsystem, component).Partner with other
organizations to foster external interface requirements and control
models and documents. Develop internal interface requirements.Lead
the interim assessment of requirements compliance for major design
reviews (e.g. Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design
Review)Lead the execution of System Requirements Reviews at all
program levelsIdentify and maintain a set of Technical Performance
MetricsParticipate in program review boards (e.g., Risk and
Opportunity Management, Engineering Review, Change Control,
etc.)Demonstrate excellence in requirements writing clear,
justified, verifiable, minimal-yet-complete, requirements paired
with a hardware- and demonstration-rich approach to
verification.Work hand-in-hand with program management and the rest
of the engineering team to push back on requirements to
thoughtfully challenge the status quo and drive forward both Blue
Origin and the industry.Define the program Standards Plan (e.g.,
design, construction, safety, environmental test, structural
analysis, etc.)Contribute to trade studies and be an impartial
advocate for the best solutions Act as a lead technical integrator
and coordinate different functions including vendors and suppliers
in support of the program goals Write, deploy, and ensure program
compliance with applicable standards in all requirements domains,
such as design, construction, and safety Work inter-dependently
with other leaders to drive progress at the organizational level
Mentor and educate junior Blue Origin employees on systems
engineering processes and methods. Qualifications:Passion for our

a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or
similarExperience working on rapid development teamsDeep
understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices such
as requirements definition, requirements traceability, functional
decomposition, and verification and validation.Excellent written
and verbal communication skillsAbility to write, deploy, enforce,
and continuously improve systems engineering processes as
neededProven track record of training and mentoring junior
engineers and providing technical guidance in an ambiguous
environment Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and
professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of
inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent
resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the
U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:Successful candidates
typically have:8+ years of practical experience in launch vehicle
systems engineeringExperience in designing aero surface application
for either high speed atmospheric flights or orbital reentry
application -Experience in design application of either high speed
atmospheric flights or orbital reentry solutions---The expected
salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the
Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon
compensation is based upon individual qualifications and
experience. Estimated salary wage (Colorado only): $132K-
