Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Richmond, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in a hospital setting required License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: Strong sense of teamwork Compassion and patience Description: Two years of experience in a hospital setting is required. An active compact license is required. BLS certification is required. The unit has 18 beds in a Medical-Surgical setting. The staff includes 13 RNs, 5 LPNs, and 25 PCTs. Patient ratios are 5 to 6 patients per nurse. Equipment includes feeding pumps, peg tubes, IVs, central lines, drains, EKGs, and EMR Meditech. Strong communication skills and neuro assessment skills are preferred. Typical procedures performed include assisting with bedside LPs, central line dressing changes, tube feedings, wound care, and Foley catheter insertion.
